Acushnet is an Indian name. The town was founded in 1860. The Centennial Celebration in 1960 included the crowning of a Miss Centennial. 2010 is the 150th Sesquicentennial year. We also included a pageant with 52 contestants vying for 4 titles. The top winner was crowned with the Indian Princess tiara in front of an audience of over 600. This crown along with 3 others from this website were outstanding! There were many compliments on the sparkle! An excellent quality product that was the perfect choice for our historic event. These crowns will be photographed all year long! If you order one, you won't be disappointed!
